Kevin and I were staying in West Yellowstone and driving into the park each morning. This drive in seems has the best chances for wildlife photos and viewing from our experience from previous trips. It is always nice to see animals in this area, but sometimes they can be in the shadows making it more difficult to photograph. This morning we saw this guy in nice light and he was not afraid to walk through the viewing area where we were parked. I was excited he stood there and posed so nice for us. As long as you keep your distance from animals, you will have a much better chance of getting them in a scene like this. Of course some tourist has to ruin it for everyone as they try to get to close. It is a problem in national parks with people not wanting to follow the rules or be aware of others in the area photographing. Try to be a good human!
