2) Adjust the temperature or white balance. 3) Try to move the exposure histogram to extend over the range. 4) In order to see which pixels are going pure white, hold down the Alt key while moving the exposure slider. 5) In order to see which pixels are going pure black, hold down the Alt key while moving the shadow slider. 6) Adjust the brightness as necessary. 7) Adjust the contrast as necessary. 8) Do Not Hit “OK”. Hold down the Alt key and OK will change to update. This will allow you to update photos shot in a similar situation. Hit Update. This assigns these settings to the image file (the settings will be visible under the metadata). Select the similar files using shift or control keys (you may want to keep the adjusted image as one of the selected images for step 10). 9) Go to Automate - Apply Camera Raw Settings. 10) Then hit update (you can select the option to apply the setting of the first selected image or the last adjusted image). The settings will be applied to all images. Note: Generally Raw files need at least 10%-15% increase in saturation. |
